48 Hours to Go: The Streaming App I Built in My Spare Hours Launches Sunday

For the last few months, my spare hours have had a project: Moobox — a web app that puts live Punjabi and Hindi TV Channels and radio stations into a simple browser tab.

It started with a familiar scene. Punjabi and Hindi channels at home usually mean a dish on the roof, a cable box, a monthly bill — or a maze of sketchy websites full of popups. I wanted one clean link that just works: open it, pick a channel, watch. So I built it.

What Moobox does at launch:

• Live Punjabi and Hindi channels — news, music, movies, bhakti and more

• Punjabi and Hindi radio, including live kirtan

• Nothing to install — it plays right in the browser on a phone, laptop or TV

• Guests can preview for 5 minutes; with an account you watch without limits and your favorites stay synced

This weekend is launch weekend. The countdown is running right now on the Moobox homepage, and on Sunday at 7:00 PM Eastern the doors open. Everyone who creates an account during the beta becomes a founding member — today's features stay yours at no cost. That is the founding promise, and it stands.

What comes next is already in the works: more channels, a native desktop app and an Android app in development, and constant improvements shaped by the people watching. There is a small community on Discord and Telegram where viewers request channels and tell me what to build next — those requests genuinely steer the roadmap.

If you want the launch moment in your inbox, join the email list — the launch email lands the second the countdown hits zero. And if you know a family who would love their channels in one place, send them the link.
